Exercise equipment

COLUMNA MEDICA Centre is furnished with modern equipment which enables a comprehensive analysis of musculoskeletal system performance and the control of training progress.
By the means of DIERS formetric 4DNew we perform non-invasive three-dimensional digital reconstruction of spine under static and dynamic conditions as well as gait analysis
Using the device FREI GENIUS ECONew  we perform a precise measurement of the force of certain muscle groups, which allows us to develop an individual functional training
Thanks to the NEURAC exercises we improve the spine and peripheral joints stabilization

A biomechanical analysis of therapeutic effects is supported with our modern diagnostics equipment such as: DIERS formetric 4D NEW, FREI GENIUS, which allows, among other things, a three-dimensional digital reconstruction of the spine, gait analysis and a precise measurement of the force of certain muscle groups.

An individual therapeutic program will be carried out in a comfortable environment (e.g. in air-conditioned rooms and surgery rooms, a luxurious swimming pool with medical wellness zone), and using modern computer-controlled training devices (e.g. FREI GENIUS ECO, Triton DTS® System, ZIMMER Physys).

Cutting-edge specialized diagnostic equipment is fundamental for a comprehensive analysis of musculoskeletal system performance and the control of training progress.
Among the tests performed, one should mention a three-dimensional digital reconstruction of the spine, a precise measurement of the force of certain muscle groups and gait analysis.
Top-class devices enable the detection and investigation of movement in three planes, and their precise analysis.

DIERS FORMETIC 4D

A diagnostic device - DIERS formetric 4D allows you to perform static and dynamic measurements of the patient’s body quickly and safely (no X-ray). Precise measurement results allow analyzing the patient's body posture and gait pattern as well as digital three-dimensional reconstruction of the spine. The measurement allows the physician and therapist to make an accurate functional diagnosis and helps them select and implement the best possible individual treatment of the patient.

How is the formetric 4D measurement performed?

A patient stands in front of the device consisting of a digital video camera and projector. The projector throws parallel measurement lines to the surface of the back, while the digital video camera transmits the three-dimensional image to the computer. The computer program instantly analyzes the data collected and defines the shape of back, spine and the pelvis position.

In addition, it is possible to perform a biomechanical diagnosis of the patient's gait (analysis of lower limb axis formation and analysis of distribution of foot forces on the ground while walking).
